The sun is scoldingly hot here even under parasols and whilst on the
beach we all got surprisingly pink around the edges yesterday.
And then the storm came. Fork lightening flashed across the sky
illuminating the sea, thunder cracked, rumbled and roared overhead and
the heavens opened washing away the heat, dust and seaview. All hopes
of a hot drink were dashed as the electricity flashed on and off and
candles were given out.
Our café quickly filled with bedraggled tourists happy to find shelter
as we all holed out here late into the evening until the storm passed
away.
