Thai countryside
Travelling by local bus, as we hurtled towards the Thai Laos border,
we were blessed with a stunning sunset over the cornfields towards the
mountains beyond. We now lie in our room with a romantic view over the
Mekong River to Laos were we journey to tomorrow.
Any excuse is a good excuse for a party in Thailand. This was Stella’s
birthday and a great drinking game ensued
A fantastic day feeding one of natures greatest animals. The Elephant
Nature Park is home for rescued Thai elephants (no tricks or torture
here) just happy roaming giants. We were recommended to this place by
friends back home and unlike many Chiang Mai elephants these are very
well cared for.

The rain is coming down so hard that rivers are created all over China
Town. We shelter at a little eatery, tuck into a great plate of
noodles washed down with Tiger beer and watch the world go by.
