It was pure quantum level parallel processing. That bug was removed so fast that light itself bent around my hands leading to a break in the laws of causality and creating small localised black holes that drained away all the possible realities where the little bastard continued to munch on my love spuds! Yeah, well, I would have liked to have reacted with a little more calmness and rationality, but the time between my realising what he was, my brain issuing direct orders about it and my rational part saying, “Oh hang on a sec-” was about a picosecond. ( my ferrets get them, so i know how creepy the little gits are.) oh my god…. i hadnt read this one before…

then the little bugger dies, and withdraws its mouth parts. then you can safely pull it off…
