Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, Maps with GPS, support for enterprise features like Microsoft Exchange, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more amazing features in your hands. And just like the original iPhone, it combines three products in one — a revolutionary phone, a widescreen iPod, and a breakthrough Internet device with rich HTML email and full web browsing. iPhone3G. It redefines what a mobile phone can do. Again.apple.co.uk

It’s not the GPS, although that sounds nice.

It’s not the 3G, although that should be fast

It’s not even the games; so long PSP.

It’s the price.

$199 is a brilliantly crazy price within everyone’s pocket.  Damn, I spent twice that on my Saturday bar bill!
Apple, again, manage to steal a march on the other players in this game.  It’s like they are saying, “Sure you can try and compete and bring out a ‘high end’ product, but we are simply going to slash the price and do all we promised at half the price”.

Suddenly, the rest look out on their own; too expensive.

iPhone was originally a product for the flash, the geeks and the cash ready.  Now it is for everyone.  Apple created an edifice of cool value.  High end Porsche styling, high tariff, high barriers to entry.  Then they simply tore them down.

Oh, and I want to say I told you so on the business features!

I’m not an apple fan boy, but I can’t fail to be impressed by this company and their products.  If I was you, dear readers, I would get a 3G iPhone as soon as possible.
